Permanent deregistration
Permanently deregister a vehicle that is going to the scrapyard.
What we do
- We check the treatment centre is an authorised one (CATV).
- We file the permanent deregistration with the traffic authority.
- We send you the certificate, which is what stops the road tax.

We do not handle this yet
We are finalising the agreement with the gestoría. What is on this page is accurate and useful for getting your papers ready. You can register your case now: nothing is charged and we ask for no documents until the procedure is open.
You get a reference and a page where you can see where it stands. We are not asking you for any document yet: this case is not open and the list is not confirmed with the gestoría that files it. When it is, we write to you with the definitive list and you upload everything in one go.
Open the caseBefore any paperwork it is worth knowing what the registry says about the vehicle: mileage, commercial use and charges.
